The immediate impulse that led to the UMM's establishment was the humanitarian catastrophe caused by Russian agression in Donietsk and Lugansk areas in 2014.
Ukrainian Medical Mission is the one of the few non-governmental Ukrainian organizations that provides a direct medical, humanitarian and development aid for the most vulnerable people in the field.
