Dmytro Vernyhor

Dmytro Vernyhor is one of the co-founders of the First Voluntary Mobile Hospital named after Mykola Pirogov (PDMSH), a doctor by education, has headed the hospital's medical service since 2016.

In 2016, he personally led the 19th rotation of PDMSH in Luhansk region, which took place in hospitals and clinics of Popasnyansky, Novoaydarsky, Shchastya and Stanychno-Luhansky districts, and Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. Organized and participated in the evacuation of wounded servicemen of the Supreme Court of Ukraine and organized the provision of highly qualified medical care to the military and civilians. After returning from the rotation, he became actively involved in the work of the central office of the PDMSH in Kyiv, where he later became the vice-president - medical director of PDMSH.

Nominated for the Order of St. Panteleimon in 2018 and has been awarded by the President of Ukraine "For humanitarian participation in the anti-terrorist operation".

Since February 2014, he has been organizing medical care for participants in the Revolution of Dignity. Since the summer of 2014, he has been actively involved in volunteer activities aimed at providing the military and volunteers participating in the anti-terrorist operation in the East of the country with medicines, medical supplies, etc.
